【摘要】:ThisinternationalStandardspecifiestheminimumoperationalandperformancerequirements,methodsoftestingandtestresultsofmarineecho-soundingequipmentrequiredtocomplywiththeperformancestandardsadoptedbytheIMOResolutionA.224(VII).Inaddition,ittakesaccountofIMOResolutionA.694(17)andisassociatedwithIEC60945.WhenarequirementinthisinternationalStandardisdifferentfromIEC60945,therequirementinthisinternationalStandardtakesprecedence.Thepurposeofecho-soundingequipmentistoprovidereliableinformationonthedeqthofwaterunderashiptoaidnavigationinparticularinshallowwater.ThisInternationStandardisapplicableforshipspeedsfrom0knto30kn.AnytextinthisinternationalStandardwithwordingidenticaltothatintheIMOResolutionA.224(VII)andIMORes.A.694(17)isprintedinitalics.
