【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheendurance(wear)lifeandloadcarryingcapacityofthinfilmfluidlubricantsthatareintendedtooperateafterasingleapplicationandafterexcessmaterialhasdrainedfromthecontactareaofslidingmetaltometalsurfaces,andwhichoperatesinwhatfunctionallyisadrainanddrymodewithnoadditionallubricantbeingapplied.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandardexceptwhereequipmentissuppliedusinginch-poundunitswhichwouldthenberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
