【摘要】:1.1ThisguideisacompendiumofGoodPracticesforperformingmeasurementsofradioactivematerialusingnondestructiveassay(NDA)instruments.TheprimarypurposeoftheguideistoassistitsusersinarrivingatqualityNDAresults,thatis,resultsthatsatisfytheendusersneeds.Thisisaccomplishedbyprovidinganacceptableanduniformbasisforthecollection,analysis,comparison,andapplicationofdata.TherecommendationsarenotcompulsoryorprerequisitestoachievingqualityNDAmeasurements,butareconsideredcontributoryinmostareas.1.2ThisguideappliestotheuseofNDAinstrumentationforthemeasurementofnuclearmaterialsbytheobservationofspontaneousorstimulatednuclearradiations,includingphotons,neutrons,ortheflowofheat.Recommendedcalibration,operating,andassurancemethodsrepresentguidingprinciplesbasedoncurrentNDAtechnology.Thediversityofindustry-widenuclearmaterialsmeasurementapplicationsandinstrumentationprecludesdiscussionofspecificmeasurementsituations.Asaresult,compliancewithpracticesrecommendedinthisguidemustbebasedonathoroughunderstandingofcontributingvariablesandperformancerequirementsofthespecificmeasurementapplication.1.3SelectionofthebestinstrumentforagivenmeasurementapplicationandadviceontheuseofthisinstrumentmustbeprovidedbyaqualifiedNDAprofessionalfollowingguidanceprovidedinGuideC1490.Thisguideistobeusedasareference,andtosupplementthecriticalthinking,professionalskill,expertjudgement,andexperimentaltestandverificationneededtoensurethattheinstrumentationandmethodshavebeenproperlyimplemented.1.4TheintendedaudienceforthisguideincludesbutisnotlimitedtoManagement,AuditorSupport,NDAQualifiedInstrumentOperators,NDATechnicalSpecialists,andNDAProfessionals.
